• Hade (派手) means gaudy; flashy; showy. Kawaii means cute. The term Hade Kawaii refers to a concept of things or styles that are gaudy and so showy some people will probably be turned off by it WHILE still being cute. Also abbreviated as Hade-Kawa sometimes.

• It is a little similar with decora style, and some people do group them together. In my opinion however, Hade Kawaii focuses more on the clothes' gaudy prints and design, Decora that focuses on the gaudy accessories.

• How to spot a Hade Kawaii; bright and loud colored prints; usually big sized; full with colorful hari and accesories.
